Africa-Press – Angola. The Republics of Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) have been working together in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to attract investors from that Latin American state to the two countries.

As stated in a press release, the ambassadors of the two countries in the capital of Argentina, respectively, Azevedo Francisco and Daniel Mubabinge, are engaged in creating conditions so that Argentine businesspeople can create businesses favorable to both States.

During a bilateral meeting this Monday, diplomats hope that business cooperation and commercial exchanges will contribute to bilateral social and economic development.

According to the two diplomats, Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo together have more than 130 million hectares of arable land, offering a good business climate in the areas of agriculture and the processing of raw materials.

Angola and the DRC are two neighboring countries that share a vast land and river border of more than two thousand and 500 kilometers, made possible by an internal migratory movement of people and goods.

Both are members of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the African Union (AU) and maintain cooperative relations in various areas, with emphasis on issues related to peace, stability and security in the region.
