Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA Provincial Committee in Cuanza Sul held, this Saturday, in the municipality of Quibala, the launch of the assemblies to review and renew the mandates of the action committees and municipal and communal conferences, in an act guided by the local first secretary of the party, Job Capapimha.
When speaking at the opening of the act, the process of which runs until next December, the person responsible highlighted the need to boost basic structures, taking into account the challenges of this political formation.
He appealed to the militants for greater alertness and interaction with the population, in order to strengthen the party in the constituency.
He spoke of the need to support the Executive in programs to combat poverty and social inclusion in communities.
It is estimated that around 400 thousand activists will participate in the assemblies and conferences across the province, and the work should focus on the balance of activities carried out between 2021 and 2023, as well as the carrying out of sporting and cultural activities.
The launch event took place under the motto “MPLA – Boost party structures for better integration into society”.
