Africa-Press – Angola. The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) in Huambo clarified, this Tuesday, the death of a citizen last Saturday (30), presumably the perpetrator of the crime of qualified theft of various goods, in a residence in the municipality of Mungo.
According to the SIC spokesperson in the province of Huambo, criminal investigation sub-inspector Abel Kangombe, the 38-year-old citizen, who was initially on the run, was arrested last Saturday, as a result of investigations carried out, as a presumed practitioner of the aforementioned crime, which occurred on March 22nd.
He said that, after the arrest, along the way, it was found that the alleged suspect was feeling unwell and the agents, instead of going to the Municipal Command of the National Police, took him to the hospital for care. doctors.
During his stay in hospital, according to Abel Kangombe, after a few hours, he died.
He reported that, given the concern, in the presence of authorities and family members, the corpse was subjected to an autopsy by the coroner, who determined that the cause of death was troporolimic shock and hemorrhagic pancreatitis.
For this painful event, he said that SIC extends its condolences to the bereaved family.
