Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan National Police in Lunda-Norte seized 3,625 liters of fuel, for smuggling to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
According to a note from the Provincial Command of the National Police, sent this Saturday, the fuel was seized during an operation in the municipalities of Chitato and Cambulo.
These are two thousand and 125 liters of gasoline and one thousand and 500 liters of diesel, delivered to the General Tax Administration, as faithful custodian, says the note, adding that two million and 500 thousand kwanzas were also seized from smugglers.
It also informs that during the operation, 641 DRC citizens were detained, accompanied by 105 children, for illegal entry into the national territory.
After detention and administrative procedures, the aforementioned individuals were expatriated to their country of origin, through the border posts of Cuango, Cambulo, Lóvua, Chitato and Caungula.
