Africa-Press – Angola. Fourteen thousand and 552 different cases were processed in District Courts across the country, from January to March this year.
According to data from the Statistics and Training department of the Superior Council of the Judiciary, consulted this Tuesday, in the 1st region, the Luanda District Court received 6,696 cases.
It adds that, of these, 3,110 were judged in the first instance and 2,104 are ongoing.
The Cabinda District Court received 555 cases, having judged 357, with 72 cases in progress.
In turn, at the Zaire District Court, referring to the 2nd judicial region, 998 cases were processed, 258 were judged and 411 are ongoing.
In turn, in the 3rd judicial region, at the Benguela District Court, 1,908 cases were processed, of which 1,218 were judged and 184 are ongoing.
Regarding the 4th judicial region, 1,409 cases were processed in the Huila District Court (120 were judged and 601 are ongoing).
In the 5th Region, specifically in the Moxico District Court, 644 cases were processed, 290 were judged and 210 are ongoing.
National procedural statistics also indicate that 2,616 release warrants were issued in the support units for guarantee judges.
In contrast, 3,152 arrest warrants were issued, with 7,145 cases awaiting outcome.
