Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the National Assembly (AN), Carolina Cerqueira, expressed, this Tuesday, deep regret over the tragic sinking of a fishing vessel, in Mozambique, which killed more than 90 people.
In a note, it states that it was with deep sadness that it learned of the tragic sinking of a fishing vessel, on the 7th of April, which killed more than ninety people, including children, in the city of Nampula.
In the note, he expresses his deepest condolences on behalf of the deputies of the AN of Angola and himself and expresses solidarity with the families of the victims and the brotherly people of Mozambique.
“We hope that the families of the victims have the strength of mind to overcome such pain, which mourned Mozambique and also the people of sister countries, such as Angola” he adds.
“Please receive, Your Excellency, Madam President, my fraternal embrace and my high esteem and consideration”, he concluded.
