Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, spoke this Tuesday, on the phone, with the new Prime Minister of Portugal, Luís Montenegro.
Without providing details, a note from the Presidency of the Republic of Angola states that the interlocutors discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
Luís Filipe Montenegro Cardoso de Morais Esteves was sworn in last Wednesday as head of the XXIV Constitutional Government of Portugal.
Angola and Portugal signed, in 2023, in Luanda, 13 bilateral cooperation agreements, mainly in the economic and financial domains, in a ceremony witnessed by President João Lourenço and António Costa, at the time Portuguese Prime Minister.
