Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan boxer Miguel Kembo qualified for the semi-finals of the Nelson Mandela Cup in boxing, which takes place in Durban (South Africa), on Friday, by defeating Democratic Congolese Kolongo Bokora, in the 51 kilogram category.

Kembo, who beat the DRC athlete on points, fights this Saturday with Mahomed Rajab, from Botswana, looking for the final.

Also on Friday, another Angolan, Adriano Kiana, defeated South African Alton Gabuza Khayalethu, at 86kg, by technical knockout in the first round.

Today, Adriano Kiana will face Kimbini Takudzwa from Zimbabwe.

The Nelson Mandela Cup, which ends on Sunday, is a tribute to the first elected president of South Africa (Nelson Mandela).
