Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary of the National Front for the Liberation of Angola (FNLA) in the province of Cunene, Júlio Garcia, this Saturday, in Ondjiva, urged citizens to adopt a patriotic stance and in favor of the interests of Angolans.

Speaking on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the symbolic delivery of his party’s new membership card model, he defended the need for young people to be more committed to patriotic and social actions.

Júlio Garcia condemned the acts of vandalism of public property, practiced in various parts of the country, highlighting the need for citizens to be more committed to the country so that everyone together can make the country great.

Meanwhile, he said that the act of delivering new cards aims to create greater dynamism in party political actions, in the face of challenges from local authorities and regaining the party’s place on the national political path.

According to the party leader, among the challenges that lie ahead, the implementation of the FNLA in all municipalities and communes stands out, for the growth of the party and a good participation in future local authorities.

The National Front for the Liberation of Angola (FNLA) is a political movement founded in 1954. It was one of the Angolan nationalist movements that fought during the anti-colonial war from 1961 to 1974.
