Africa-Press – Angola. Colégio Cristal de Talatona, in partnership with the Real Madrid Foundation, organized the second sports clinic last weekend, in which around 530 children were involved.
On balance, the school’s communication manager, Cátia Barroca, said that the objective was to empower children aged between five and 18, with football techniques, thus creating healthy sporting habits.
According to that official, the boys and teenagers were accompanied by Spanish coaches Carlos Gustavo Albert Garcia and Ignacio Abascal Artola.
According to Cátia Barroca, in this 2022 edition, topics such as game system, ball circulation, finishing, free trials, individual tactical quality, preparation to compete and practical matches were also addressed.
Cátia Barroca underlined that the protocol signed by Colégio Cristal de Talatona with the Real Madrid Foundation will serve to develop work with the community, thus giving continuity to the tasks in teams within what are the social responsibilities that translate the institution of private education.
Of the children who participated, 30 were taken from the neighboring communities of that educational institution. The protocol foresees the arrival of coaches three times a year, in order to carry out the clinic, which lasts for one week.
The first edition of the activity took place in May 2019, but due to the limitations imposed by Covid-19, it was only possible to reactivate the process last weekend.
