According to the president of the CPE, José Ndala Carlos, who provided the information at the end of a courtesy meeting with a delegation from the Provincial Youth Council (CPJ), those interested must also be “in good health, in terms of their mental faculties.
The official went to the CPE to find out about the progress of the process of organizing the elections and the workforce needed for the polling stations and said that an inclusive process is intended, for which, he added, awareness campaigns are being developed. youth in that sense.
He explained that the objective is for young people to know how to contribute to the electoral process, with civic, patriotic spirit, harmony, tolerance, with a view to ensuring that the election takes place in an atmosphere of high satisfaction, cordiality, tranquility, stability and peace.

In this area, the governor of Benguela visited the provincial headquarters of the National Assembly, (AN), having learned about the functioning of the Support Office for Deputies. Luís Nunes also verified the physical conditions of the building and all the dependencies.
The Provincial Support Office for AN Deputies takes care of administrative matters, political inspection missions and official visits by deputies to the provinces, receiving, forwarding to the competent bodies petitions, complaints and suggestions from citizens and collaborating with the permanent work committees, in the preparation of technical-administrative conditions for the fulfillment of local missions.
It also has the function of receiving and forwarding to Organs competent bodies of the National Assembly the reports of the deputies of the provincial circles and performing other tasks that are guided by superiors.
The provincial circle of Benguela is composed of five deputies: four from the MPLA party (Joaquim de Almeida, Veríssimo Sapalo, Deolinda Valiangula and Eduarda Magalhães); and one by UNITA (Adriano Sapinãla).
