Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary of the MPLA Political Bureau for Organization and Insertion in Society, Gonçalves Muandumba, recommended Wednesday, in the municipality of Belize, province of Cabinda, greater dynamics and rigor in the mobilization of new militants.
When speaking to the activists of this political formation in the municipality of Belize, as part of his three-day visit to the interior of the province of Cabinda, Gonçalves Muandumba asked the party organizations, JMPLA and OMA, to continue working with communities in the in order to publicize the activities developed and ongoing in favor of the social well-being of the populations.
“Only with this dynamic will we attract more members to the party’s ranks in order to strengthen intermediate and base structures”, he reinforced.
He also advocated the need to permanently listen to the main social problems of the populations and report to the party’s central structures, in order to guide possible solutions for their resolution.
“We are reminded that at the opening of the MPLA’s political agenda for 2024, the party president, João Lourenço, urged activists, at the country level, to be more concerned with social problems in the communities and it is with this purpose that we went to the municipality of Belize”, he highlighted.
According to the politician, the MPLA’s attention is directed to youth and women, as they are the two social groups that participated in the victories achieved by the party.
Currently the municipal committee of the MPLA in Belize has around five thousand and 220 militants in its statistics, registered in the 128 action committees and eight sector committees.
In Cabinda, MPLA Political Bureau Secretary for Organization and Insertion in Society, Gonçalves Muandumba, is maintaining contacts with executive committees, party leaders and officials, civil society, religious entities, as well as carrying out visits to action committees.
