Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, received this Monday, in Luanda, a delegation from the Higher Institute of International Relations of the Republic of Cuba.
According to a press release, the delegation is in the country for contacts with the Management of the Venâncio de Moura Diplomatic Academy (ADVM) as part of a tour in some African states, namely Angola, Guinea-Bissau and Guinea.
At the courtesy meeting, held at ADVM, the Cuban delegation’s intention to work hand in hand with its Angolan counterpart was mentioned.
The two international relations institutions want to identify common points to boost the Cooperation Agreement, signed last year, between ISRI of Cuba and ADVM of Angola.
The hearing was attended, among other diplomats, by ambassador Marcos Barrica, director general of ADVM.
The Cuban delegation is made up of Leonel Mangueira and Eumelio Rodríguez, vice-rector of Research and Postgraduate Studies and the director of International Relations at ISRI, respectively.
