Africa-Press – Angola. Deputies assigned to the Uíge provincial circle carried out visits to higher education institutions in the province of Uíge Monday, to find out about their operation.
At the end of the visit to Kimpa Vita University, ISCED-Uíge, Instituto Superior Privado Nzenzu Estrela and Instituto Superior Politécnico Privado do Uíge (ISPPU), the coordinator of the provincial circle of Uíge, Nazaré dos Anjos Mendes, highlighted the work of training senior technicians in the region.
Regarding the difficulties found, Nazaré dos Anjos Mendes said that they will be forwarded to related bodies, so that the recorded shortcomings can be improved.
In turn, the rector of Kimpa Vita University, Pedro Vita, understands that the deputies’ visit will help in advocating for the difficulties faced by higher education institutions in the region.
Among the difficulties, the academic highlighted public lighting and the rehabilitation of Kimpa Vita’s facilities.
Higher education institutions in Uíge enrolled more than 12 thousand students in the various courses this academic year.
