VPR opens the 25th Session of the National Family Council

Africa-Press – Angola. The Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, will open this Wednesday, in Luanda, the 25th Session of the National Family Council.

According to the press release, the event will take place as part of the celebrations of the International Family Day, taking place on the 15th of May, under the motto “investing in families and achieving the objectives of sustainable development”.

The event will be attended by the president of the World Family Organization, Deise Noeli Weber Kusztra.

The National Family Council takes place annually, within the scope of May 15th, International Family Day, which was established by the United Nations General Assembly, with the aim of highlighting the importance of the family in building safe, harmonious and properly structured societies.

In Angola, the date began to be celebrated since the creation of the Ministry of Family in September 1997.
