Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, lamented, this Monday, the death, in a tragic plane crash, of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raissi.
According to a press release sent, the Angolan Head of State expressed regret in a message he sent today to the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei.
The note states that he learned, with deep consternation, of the death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raïssi, which occurred on May 19 of this year, as a result of a plane crash that also killed other important figures in the country.
“I want, on behalf of the Angolan Executive and myself, to present to Your Excellency and the Iranian People our deepest condolences for the physical passing of this illustrious personality and his companions in misfortune, aware of the void they will leave in your country, to which they dedicated large part of their lives, in defense of the noblest values of Iranian culture and those of Iran’s affirmation in the concert of nations as a prosperous and sovereign nation”. regrets the President.
For this reason, he also extended his feelings of condolence to the bereaved family and friends of the deceased.
“Please accept, Your Excellency, the expression of my feelings of solidarity, in this hour of pain and mourning for Your nation”, he concluded.
