Comorian president concerned about the country's regional integration

Africa-Press – Angola. President Azali Assoumani spoke, on Sunday, in Moroni, concerned about the real integration of the Comoros into the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

This information was revealed yesterday by the Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António.

According to the head of Angolan diplomacy, Azali Assoumani expressed concern, during the meeting with the acting president of SADC, João Lourenço, after the investiture ceremony, held at the Malouzini Football Stadium, where leaders and representatives of Governments, institutions and regional and international.

According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Azali Assoumani “wanted to know how, in practice, the integration of the Comoros into the regional organization will work, as well as bilateral cooperation, looking at the requirements of the future”.

Still regarding bilateral relations, Téte António said that, in the near future, a Comorian delegation will go to Luanda to, together, analyze the areas of cooperation between Angola and the Comoros Islands.
