Africa-Press – Angola. Banco Keve was the big winner of the Awards Gala of the thirteenth edition of the Benguela International Fair (FIB), held on Sunday, in that city.
According to its representative at the event, the director of agribusiness, Hélio Silva, the Bank has a new brand that is “moving forward with the country”.
He also said that, in addition to his business segment, he is investing in social responsibility, with a strong intention of contributing to sport and philanthropy, especially when it comes to supporting Elderly Homes.
In addition to the main prize, the Awards Gala awarded several prizes subdivided into categories.
For the food and beverage industry, the award went to Salinas Calombolo, for the manufacturing industry and Public Works, Omatapalo won, for the Insurance category the winner was ENSA, while for Commerce, Health and Wellbeing the company Central was awarded. LAB.
In relation to financial services, the award went to the Agrarian Development Support Fund (FADA), the printing industry with Carplast, transport and logistics with the Benguela Railway (CFB), which on the occasion celebrated its 122nd anniversary. , and for machines and equipment, Auto-Matriz was the winner of the category.
Honorable mentions were also awarded to several companies that, during the five days at FIB, demonstrated skills in their fields, attracted customers and increased their turnover.
Representing the Provincial Government of Benguela, vice-governor Adilson Gonçalves thanked Grupo Eventos Arena which, in his opinion, for thirteen consecutive years has worked with great professionalism in organizing the Benguela International Fair, leaving a mark on the province and the region.
He stated that that business exchange has provided great opportunities for entrepreneurs, in order to attract new investments for the province and beyond.
“The Provincial Government of Benguela publicly assumes here that it will continue to support Grupo Eventos Arena to firmly continue with its activities”, he concluded.
The thirteenth edition of FIB ended this Sunday with the participation of more than three hundred companies from different sectors, coming from various provinces in Angola and also from abroad.
All are focused on competitiveness, taking into account the business opportunities that can be seen with the full implementation of the Lobito Corridor, the Refinery, the largest in the country, and also the Catumbela International Airport, which will significantly contribute to the mobility of national businesspeople and foreigners.
