Africa-Press – Angola. The organization of the II edition of the Angolan Economic Forum has a budget of 100 million kwanzas. The data was presented yesterday in Luanda by the director of the conference.
Alexandre Ernesto is the representative of Kwanza Económico, organizer of the event in partnership with PetroAngola.
He said during the dialogue with journalists that the organization also intends to increase the value of the investment to improve the structure.
Alexandre Ernesto reinforced that the objective is to discuss the main topics related to the country’s economy, with the aim of finding the best solutions.
The Angola Economics Forum brings together business leaders, national political decision-makers, international guests, academics and civil society representatives.
Patrício Quingongo, CEO of PetroAngola, said that the 2nd edition brings new features such as training during the event, with capacity for 140 people, adding that this is an opportunity for young people who have recently graduated.
The official said that, so far, 80 percent of the public has been confirmed.
The event will cover topics such as public finances, economic growth, education, employment, entrepreneurship, local development, trade and sustainability, energy and transport economics, agriculture and marine resources, as well as banking, insurance, capital markets and the real economy.
Banco de Fomento Angola is a sponsor of the event. Filipe Silvério, representative of the bank, was at the meeting with the press, yesterday, in one of the hotels in the country’s capital.
