Africa-Press – Angola. Five hundred saleswomen in the areas of Mabor and Petrangol, municipality of Cazenga (Luanda), benefited from a financial boost, worth one hundred thousand kwanzas each, to boost their daily activities.

The amount was made available by Angolan businessman Bento Kangamba, as part of his social responsibilities and was part of the celebrations of September 17th, National Hero Day, marked.

Speaking to the press, the businessman said that this action contributes to improving the economic and financial base of these women and their families.

He committed to continuing to implement actions that aim to gradually improve the living conditions of this fringe of society, and beyond.

Bento Kangamba asked traders to support the programs implemented by the Angolan Government, whose main objective is to guarantee the country’s development, reduce the price of basic naps, among others.

She also asked women not to be deceived by false political promises and to work in harmony with institutions, whether at local or central level.

This is the work we have been doing. We are entering all neighborhoods, supporting the saleswomen financially so they can carry out their work and lower the prices of products”, said the businessman, for whom this action is inclusive, regardless of party affiliation or religious belief.

On the occasion, the vendors, mostly street vendors, thanked the Angolan businessman for the gesture, as it will boost their business.

They hope that initiatives of this kind will be materialized more often, with the aim of helping salespeople, and beyond.
