Angola lost to Lesotho by 0-1 this Saturday in Luanda’s 11 de Novembro Stadium, but managed to secure the pass to the African Nations Footbal Championship (CHAN) for home-based players, which is jointly to be hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda next year, from 1 to 18 February.
The sole goal of the match was scored by Hlompho, at 32 minutes, through a penalty kick.
Despite the defeat, the Angolan squad, coached by the Portuguese Pedro Gonçalves, are through to CHAN2025, for having won the first leg encounter by 2-0, goals scored by Megue and Kaporal.
