Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, expressed deep consternation to the Cuban people and the Government of that friendly country, due to the events that took place in Havana a few days ago, namely the explosion at the Saratoga Hotel, which caused dozens of deaths and injuries.
In a message of condolences sent to President Miguel Mário-Díaz Canel, the Head of State expressed the solidarity of the Angolan Government and on its behalf, with the victims and the Cuban people in general, asking that feelings of condolence be conveyed to those who have lost their loved ones in this sad occurrence.
This information was released today, in a note, by the Secretariat for Communication and Press Affairs of the President of the Republic.
