A Point of Order!

Africa-Press – Angola. Everyone was euphoric, the atmosphere was tense, and I had to calm everyone down! I boldly began to speak, at least everyone kept quiet and some listened to me. Although half of those present did not agree with me, I continued. And in the end, even though I did not provide the solution, I planted doubts and hope in the hearts of those present.

Sometimes you just have to live with doubts and hope!

Doubt stimulates possibilities. While hope feeds us with the certainty that better days will come!

Hope sustains the faith that there will be better days; that no situation will last forever… this has been the fuel of many nations and peoples. There are situations that seem to have no end. No matter how complex they are, there will always be an end.

I have seen plants grow in the middle of the desert (Welwitschia mirabilis), I have seen a prisoner become president (Nelson Mandela), I have seen an unarmed man conquer nations (Mahatma Gandhi), I have also seen Luther King’s dream come true, I have a dream! That is what drives us, the dream! We must dream and believe, brothers.

This is the situation, we must accept it and look for solutions.

It’s no use to us if we just complain and criticize.

The situation is no less, I know. Time does not come back, what we had we will not have, but fortunately God gave us the ability to adapt, we must adapt to the context.

Contribution of solutions is what is expected at this time. United we are stronger.

We must contemplate the oasis of opportunities that life offers us.

We must believe in a new era and in the political and social context that Angola is experiencing. To do so, we must give the benefit of the doubt! Only by giving the benefit of the doubt will we see the opportunities of this new era.

We must believe!

We must have hope! And above all we must give the benefit of the doubt.

The certainty that tomorrow will be better has to come from you and not from others.

Do not encourage destruction, but tirelessly raise awareness to build… because it is in building that we will build a better Angola for the future of our children.
