According to João Diogo Gaspar, Agostinho Neto is part of the so-called “Message Generation”, in the 50’s, through the “Vamos Descobrir Angola” movement, and which soon stood out with the writings published in various publications of the time in the country, Brazil and Portugal. , hence he is considered, until today, one of the great authors of the Portuguese-speaking nations.

“The grandeur of Neto’s works must be passed on from generation to generation, given the historical, cultural and political dimension that it entails. Thus, I appeal to a deep and continuous study, especially by the younger ones, in the understanding and understanding of the thought de Neto”, he reaffirmed.

He stressed that this statesman used his intelligence to oppose the Portuguese colonialists and, with that, he built an ideal, enshrined in the “most important is to solve the people’s problems”, very evident also in literary works.
