Africa-Press – Angola. An inter-ministerial delegation, comprising the ministers of National Defence, Territorial Administration and Secretaries of State for Urban Planning and Territory, assessed, on Friday, in the province of Moxico-Leste, the implementation of the master plan for the construction of the future city of Cazombo. The process is taking place following the planning and construction plan for new infrastructures in the new province, created under the new Political-Administrative Division.
During their stay in Moxico-Leste, the delegation met with members of local civil society, and the occasion was used to present three implementation proposals that, in the first phase, will cover the construction of 200 residences and buildings for essential administrative services.For the provincial governor, Crispiniano dos Santos, the presence of the delegation in Cazombo clearly demonstrated the Executive’s willingness to resolve the main problems facing the new province.
The governor said that he will work with the various ministerial departments to intervene in an integrated manner in achieving the Executive’s major objectives.
Crispiniano dos Santos also stated that while the implementation of the new infrastructure is being awaited, work is being carried out locally to install the public and residential lighting network in Cazombo.
