Africa-Press – Angola. Angola and Hungary signed, in Budapest, the Bilateral Air Services Agreement, an act that enables the operation of direct routes, with emphasis on the Luanda-Budapest connection, which may be extended to other destinations in Central and Eastern Europe. According to a press release, the agreement was signed by the Minister of Transport, Ricardo D’Abreu, and the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, as part of the Angolan minister’s official visit to Hungary.

With this instrument, Angola and Hungary are deepening their ties of cooperation, “opening the way for diversified economic results”, said Ricardo D’Abreu, in the same statement.For the minister, this is a “significant step that reflects the growing importance of relations between the two countries and the alignment of their strategic visions”.

Minister Péter Szijjártó stressed that the signed agreement represents a new chapter in relations with Angola, “a country with which Hungary shares values ​​based on mutually beneficial cooperation”.
