Africa-Press – Angola. The work of writer Carmo Neto is reviewed today, at 19:00, in an online session, on the Zoom platform, open to all, in another edition of the project “Conversas à Thursday”.
The initiative of the Angolan Academy of Letters (AAL) will allow participants to have more knowledge about the speaker’s life and work, presented in the first person, under the moderation of the writer António Fonseca.
The project, which is part of the AAL conference cycle, has led figures from letters and other areas of knowledge to address not only trajectories, but also to discuss aspects of Angolan society, broadcast on the Zoom platform.
A founding member of the AAL, he was previously secretary-general of the Union of Angolan Writers (UEA). Born in Malanje, Carmo Neto has short stories published in several anthologies, in the country and abroad. The writer, who has on the market, among others, the books “A Forja”, “Mahezu” and “Joana Maluca”, is part of the so-called “Geração de 80”.
