Africa-Press – Angola. The Head of State, João Lourenço, is on his way to Gabon for an official visit at the invitation of the Gabonese President, Brice Oligui Nguema. Before leaving the country, from the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport in Luanda, João Lourenço received farewell greetings from the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, ministers of State, ministers, and other members of the Government.
According to a note from the Presidency of the Republic, it will be a short visit, with all the activities of the programme concentrated in a single day and which will include a tête-à-tête between the two Heads of State and then an extended conversation with the members of the two delegations.
The visit will lead to the signing of cooperation agreements in different areas.
The programme also includes a moment with the press, where President João Lourenço and President Brice Oligui Nguema will specify the new directions of bilateral relations, among other current issues.
The Head of State, João Lourenço, returns to Luanda today.
