Africa-Press – Angola. The director-general of the National Children’s Institute (INAC) presented, on Thursday, in Abuja, Nigeria, Angola’s action strategies in the area of combating physical and sexual violence perpetrated against minors, among which he highlighted measures to increase the accountability of offenders.During the annual regional conference, which was attended by members of the Global Alliance of Pioneer Countries (AGPP), Paulo Kalesi considered it essential to strengthen the fight against violence against minors in African countries, due to the physical and psychological consequences of such acts on the lives of victims.
Among the topics addressed by the director of INAC, in addition to the progress made by Angola since the Global conference held in November last year in Colombia, there is also the current National Plan for the Implementation of the prevention and combat of violence against children.
