Africa-Press – Angola. The technicians of the Port of Lobito, who work in several departments, were trained last weekend in the Audit Court’s Audit Procedures. The training, promoted by the port company in partnership with the Audit Court, aimed to equip employees with technical knowledge to perform their duties with high competence, ethics and responsibility.
During the training, topics related to “Audit Court’s Audit, Organization and Operation”, “Preventive Audit Regimes under Laws No. 13/10 and No. 19/19”, “Successive Audit” and “Accountability Models based on Resolution No. 1/17” were covered.
The Audit Court’s mission is to monitor the use of public money. Its objective is not to persecute entities, but to ensure that public resources are applied in accordance with the law.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Port of Lobito, Celso Rosas, highlighted the importance of training to strengthen transparency and good governance in public management. He pointed out that understanding the auditing methods of the Court of Auditors is essential to ensure rigorous, ethical and efficient management of public resources.
