Africa-Press – Angola. With the aim of raising funds to support humanitarian causes, a fair under the motto “Shop for Charity” was held on Tuesday at the United Nations headquarters in New York (USA), and was organized by the UN Delegations Spouses Club (UNDSC).

According to a note, the Angolan exhibition spot, led by Angolan ambassador to UN Francisco José da Cruz, displayed typical products of the country, among them, Capungo-Pungo tea with lemon and ice, which attracted many visitors eager to enjoy a different refreshment on a traditional day.

Other national products, such as Cuca beer and Capuca (local liquor) were also among the most requested. The portion consisting of rice, beans and fried fish was also well-received by the public.

The United Nations International Bazaar brought together representatives from around 50 of the 193 member states of the international organization.
