Africa-Press – Angola. The first municipal secretary of the MPLA in Saurimo, Kelson Malomalo, Saturday, urged party members, friends and supporters to commit to basic sanitation in the communities and to monitor public property, which has been vandalized by unknown individuals.
The politician launched the challenge at a mass political event called “MPLA Days in Action”, reaffirming that with clean neighborhoods, there is a greater chance of preventing diseases, with a higher incidence of cholera and malaria.
Meanwhile, the vandalization of public property has contributed to the government spending more money on the same things, to the detriment of other achievements, for the good of all.
He appealed to members and the community to be more vigilant and report the vandalization of public property and to distance themselves from uninformed people, who instead of investing in development, foment slander and sow ill-feeling among the population and beyond.
Kelson Malomalo also said that activists must be prepared to face the country’s political challenges, as well as expand the Executive’s achievements in communities, so that people understand the degree of its importance. The MPLA in action days under the slogan “Everyone for the grassroots, everyone for the communities” have already taken place in the 11 de Novembro, Nzagi, and Agostinho Neto neighborhoods and will continue in other areas of Saurimo.
These days serve to consolidate the constant orientation of the MPLA’s political agenda for 2025 and to present the results of the party’s Constitutive Municipal Conference in Saurimo, held by force of the New Political-Administrative Division of the Country.
