Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan team Petro de Luanda has qualified for the final of the Basketball Africa League “BAL”, by defeating, on Wednesday, in Johannesburg, Al Ittihad of Alexandria of Egypt for 96 – 74.

In the opening quarter of the semi-finals, the Angolans knew how to exploit the ability of Patrick Gardner and Samkelo Cele who helped in the 25-22 advantage.

In Saturday’s final, Petro will play against the Al Tripoli of Libya.

This is the third final for the Angolan team. In 2022 they were in second place, and in 2024 Petro de Luanda won the competition.
