Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall, arrived at the beginning of Tuesday night in Luanda, for a 72-hour State visit at the invitation of the Angolan Head of State, to strengthen relations between the two States.
Upon his arrival, at 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, the Senegalese Head of State was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António.
The 4 de Fevereiro International Airport was also filled with a crowd of Senegalese citizens residing in Angola who flocked to the place to welcome their Head of State.
This Wednesday, Macky Sall lay a wreath on Dr. António Agostinho Neto, First President of the Republic of Angola, and shortly afterwards, hold a meeting with the Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço.
In the afternoon, he will go to the Angolan Parliament to address an Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of Angola.
It is also expected that during the State visit of President Macky Sall, Angola and Senegal will sign agreements in the fields of justice, trade, tourism, oil and energy, promotion and protection of investment.
