Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan professor Marcelino Pintinho will present his new scientific work, “Illiteracy and Unemployment as a Factor of Social Exclusion,” in Luanda on Tuesday.
In a statement, the professor stated that the book analyzes issues related to illiteracy in the country, the policies to combat it, and the programs of the national education system.
“Through this work, we were able to assess the infrastructure capacity of the educational chain at the national level and establish a comparison between Angola and other states regarding the budget allocated to the education sector,” he emphasized.
The work, he said, is 260 pages long and can be used for research on topics related to social sciences, humanities, engineering, among others.
The presentation of the book, which has already been released in Brazil, is part of the celebrations of World Literacy Day, which is celebrated today, Tuesday.
With more than two published scientific works, Marcelino Pintinho holds a PhD in Educational Sciences from the Metropolitan University of Asunción in Paraguay.
