The Humanist Party of Angola (PHA) wants to promote humanism and democratic governance, as well as guarantee the dignity of the human person and their right to development, said this Monday, the leader of that political formation, recently recognized by the Constitutional Court. .
Florbela Malaquias, who made the official presentation of the PHA, said the “uncompromising purpose is to put the party in a comfortable position in the national political arena.
He assured that the PHA intends to work towards the eradication of corruption,
safeguard security and justice rights, promote social, solidarity and cooperative economy, promote environmental sustainability and education for development, peace and public ethics.
“Life in society depends on the way we share our energies and our visions of the world. This presupposes accepting various possibilities for organizing society and considering the mutability of reality. Therefore, the party wants to promote the deepening of democracy, as well as such as institutional reforms, transitional justice, social cohesion programs, the right to historical memory and human rights,” he said.
The also jurist and journalist considered the PHA “the great novelty that brings a fresh breeze and a new political aesthetic to the arena where all intentions are played”. “For the bad, the good must be unachievable, but the humanists will continue firm and strong in defense of human rights and the broader material justice in Angola”, she guaranteed.
For the materialization of its objectives, the PHA, according to Florbela Malaquias, relies on the dynamism of youth, people of faith, women and the determination of men. “The Humanist Party of Angola has its ranks wide open to welcome all Angolans committed to the humanization of our society”, she guaranteed.
