Africa-Press – Angola. Desportivo da Huíla ended up winning against São Salvador do Kongo 2-0, in a match of the 6th round of the Girabola, interrupted by rain on Sunday and concluded this morning (Monday), at the Tundavala stadium.
This is the first victory for the Huíla team in the current Girabola season.
The match was suspended at 77 minutes due to heavy rain and thunderstorms by the match commissioner, Alberto Bumbo, after determining that the pitch conditions no longer allowed the game to continue.
The two goals were scored on Sunday, by Kimuanga (own goal) at 31 minutes and Jeizy at 46 minutes, after a cross from Casimiro.
The 13 minutes plus five played today were not enough for the team from the Kingdom of Kongo to reverse the result, and the Huíla representative achieved its first victory in the competition.With one win, four draws, and one loss, Desportivo da Huíla reaches seventh place with seven points, while São Salvador is 10th with the same number of points. The league is led by Recreativo do Libolo from Cuanza-Sul with 13 points.
