Africa-Press – Angola. King Mohammed VI of Morocco sent a congratulatory message to Angolan President João Lourenço on the 50th anniversary of National Independence, which was celebrated on November 11.
According to a press release from the Angolan embassy in Morocco sent, in the message the monarch expressed his warm congratulations to the Angolan Head of State, and his pride and joy at this historic occasion marking half a century of the Angolan people’s freedom and sovereignty.
The King reaffirmed the Kingdom of Morocco’s commitment to strengthening friendly relations and cooperation with Angola, emphasizing that the two countries share a commitment to solidarity and African development.
The king underscored that trengthening these relations would contribute to building a more united, prosperous and stable continent.
Mohammed VI also expressed his wishes for progress and prosperity to the Angolan people and wished President João Lourenço continued success in leading the country.
