Africa-Press – Angola. The Faculty of Economics of Agostinho University (FEC-UAN) has been offering postgraduate courses in economics and management for over a decade to meet the needs of the national economy.
This statement was made by the dean of the institution, Redento Maia, quoted in a press release from FEC-UAN, received, when he received the ‘Duas Palmas de Excelência’ award from Eduniversal.
Last September, FEC-UAN was honoured with this award by Eduniversal Ranking, one of the most prestigious international assessments covering 153 countries.
The sources states that, Redento Maia said that with this award, the institution has reached an unparalleled milestone in its nearly 45-year history, joining the select group of African faculties that have achieved this level of excellence.
‘Receiving this award is very exciting. We came to India to make history, and this history fills us with pride and the desire to do even better in the future for the benefit of our country and Angolan society,’ the note mentions.
FEC-UAN offers a PhD in economics, which has already completed two editions, and a PhD in management, which has already completed its fourth edition.
He holds six master’s degrees, namely in ‘Economic Policy and Development’, ‘Administration and Finance’, ‘Hospital Administration’, ‘Monetary and Financial Economics’, ‘Capital Markets’, and ‘Entrepreneurship and Innovation’.
The training program has been running smoothly and complies with current regulations, with each program operating in different but critical areas for the technological innovation processes that Angola needs.
