Africa-Press – Angola. Voting citizens who, for reasons inherent to the exercise of their functions, are unable to attend the polling stations on 24 August, may request an early vote, informed the Commission’s commissioner this Tuesday in Luanda. Electoral National, João Damião.
The information was released this Tuesday, in Luanda, by electoral commissioner João Damião, referring to it being the first time that the country will make use of this right, which takes place after the completion of the mapping of polling stations, 45 days before the general vote
The academic also provided information during his lecture on “early voting from the perspective of Angolan electoral legislation”, at the international seminar on “early voting and voting abroad”, organized by the Network of Jurisdictional and Electoral Administration Bodies of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries, abbreviated ROJAE-CPLP.
