Africa-Press – Angola. The Government invested, from 2017 to 2022, in eight new hybrid electricity generation plants with an autonomy of five mega watts each and which have contributed to the stability seen in the supply of electricity throughout the country.

These indicators were put forward, on Tuesday, in Luanda, at the 6th edition of “Café CIPRA – Dialogue Without Mediation”, which addressed the theme “The Electrification of the Country and Its Impact on Attracting Investments”, by the Secretary of State for Energy .

António Belsa da Costa said at the time that investments in power plants, combined cycles such as the one in Soyo and in water complexes such as Cambambe and Laúca aim to guarantee greater autonomy in the production of electricity.
