Africa-Press – Angola. Petro de Luanda failed to qualify for the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League, after losing 0-2 to Esperance de Tunis on Saturday night in the 6th and final round of Group D.
The goals were scored by Diakité (47′) and Diarra (90′).
In the other matches of the group, Simba of Tanzania beat Stade Malien 1-0, with a goal by Oura (4′).
The Tanzanians achieved their first and only victory in the competition.
Stade Malien, with 11 points, and Esperance de Tunis, with 9, progressed to the quarter-finals.
