Africa-Press – Angola. The Civil Protection and Fire Service (SPCB) recorded more than 30 different incidents during the Luanda Carnival parades, which took place in the Angolan capital between the 14th and 16th of this month, in Nova Marginal (New Boulevard).

According to the acting spokesperson of SPCB, Pedro Nemambo, the incidents were recorded during the parades of the Children’s, B and A categories of the carnival, which ended on Monday night.

Speaking the official highlighted that there were no serious cases, with most being headaches, malaria, and toothaches.

He pointed out that during the main parade there were three cases of rescue in eminence of drowning citizens aged 15, 17 and 33.

The official also said that they had 21 pre-hospital care, with special emphasis on four cases of fainting due to hypoglycemia.

At the time, Pedro Nemambo considered the operation positive, taking into account the 20-case reduction compared to 2025.

He emphasized the mobilization of 900 personnel, from commissary officers, superiors, sub-chiefs, physicians, nurses, rescuers, swimmers-rescuers and sappers.

They had the support of five speedboats, two ambulances, a rescue vehicle, as well as two fire trucks, among other technical resources.
