Africa-Press – Angola. The technical team defined, on Saturday (21) in Luanda, the ten players who will represent the senior men’s national roller hockey team in the Nations Cup in Montreux, Switzerland, to be held on April 1st to 5th.

Coach Rui Neto called up nine players who play for different teams in Europe and only one from the Angolan championship, Francisco Eduardo “Chiquinho”, forward for DV Sport.

The African champions will play against Italy on April 1st, Argentina, the world champions, on April 2nd, and against Monteux Hockey Club on April 3rd, at the end of the regular season.

Angola’s best ranking in this tournament, which brings together the best national teams in the world, was third place back in 2013.

The debut took place in 1982, with Angola finishing in 9th position.
