Africa-Press – Angola. The book “Um olhar reflectivo sobre o pensamento de Ndahondypo” literally meaning “A Reflective Look at the Thought of Ndahondyapo”, authored by Alves Mandele, was presented to academics, students, and literature lovers in the southern province of Cunene.
The work, launched on August 8, 2024, in the province of Huíla, portrays the figure of the late ISCED/Huila lecturer, Lázaro Ndahondyapo, and is intended for educators, teachers, students, and those interested.
In a statement to ANGOP, the author said that the book brings an approach that values the teaching of a researcher who had a non-static teaching style, promoting a vision that goes beyond the classroom.
He stated that the proposed pedagogy reflects the life and work of a true teacher and an eternal researcher who transcends technical teaching, incorporating philosophy, research, and humanism about being, demanding responsibility, analysis, and a loving connection with the student.
“This is the passing down of a legacy described as a sharing of knowledge, maintained through a mentor relationship (master and disciple), during the classroom, social phenomena, and teachings aimed at youth,” he emphasized.
With 93 pages and divided into three chapters, the book is being sold for 10,000 kwanzas (USD 1= 912Kz), with 200 copies printed in the first phase.
The author was born in Lubango, province of Huíla, on Feb 23, 1993, and holds a degree in Education Science, specializing in Pedagogy.
The director of the Culture and Tourism Office in Cunene, Isidro Ndahepele, praised the event, highlighting that the author brings to Cunene the biography and career of a son of the province who contributed greatly to the training of several professionals in the southern region of the country.
He emphasized that the work promotes the sons of the province of Cunene, demonstrating that, in addition to other areas, they also excel in academia and science.
He appealed to the youth to develop the habit of reading and research in various fields of knowledge.
