Africa-Press – Angola. President João Lourenço appointed on Thursday eight new judges to the Supreme Court, the Press Office of the Presidency of the Republic has said.
The following individuals were appointed: Armando do Amaral Gugel, Baltazar Irineu da Costa, Cláudia Maria Fernandes Domingos, Hermenegildo Oséas, Fernando Cassimbombo, José Sequeira Lopes, Júlia de Fátima Leite da Silva Freira, Manuel Pereira da Silva, and Tânia Marisa Araújo Pereira Brás.
This follows the Superior Council of the Judiciary’s plenary approval and ratification of the final evaluation and verification report for the curricular competition to fill eight vacancies for Ministers of the STF.
