Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan Jaquelina Mabiala Ngulo was honored in Lagos, Nigeria, as one of Africa’s 100 iconic personalities, during a gala held on Friday under the theme “The Africa We Want: Accelerating Excellence for a Self-Sufficient Continent.”
A press release from the Angolan Embassy in Nigeria, sent on Thursday, stated that the event brought together prominent leaders and entrepreneurs from various sectors of African social, economic, cultural, and scientific life as an international networking platform to strengthen the image of the represented countries.
Jaquelina Ngulo, who was accompanied by members of the Angolan diplomatic mission, expressed her pride and described the distinction as invaluable.
“The event boosted Angola’s visibility, validated national talent, and strengthened cultural ties between Angola and Nigeria,” she declared, after receiving the “Iconic International Awards,” which recognized 100 influential personalities in Africa.
Jaquelina Mabiala Ngulo is an engineer, writer, digital activist, and founder of Veuma, an enterprise dedicated to promoting female inclusion in the technology sector.
She is also the author of the book “Malongui da Minha Avó” (My Grandmother’s Malongui).
