First Lady Participates in Rosary Prayer at Muxima Sanctuary

Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan First Lady Ana Dias Lourenço is participating the rosary prayer at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Muxima, in the province of Icolo e Bengo, led by Pope Benedict XIV.

The rosary prayer is a Marian devotion that consists of meditating on the five mysteries of the life of Jesus Christ and Mary, totaling 50 Hail Marys, distributed in decades.

The prayer begins with the Sign of the Cross, the Creed, the Our Father and the initial Hail Marys, followed by five decades (Our Father, 10 Hail Marys and Glory Be) and culminates with the Hail Holy Queen.

On Sunday morning, the Supreme Pontiff presided over Sunday Mass in the Kilamba Centrality.
