Africa-Press – Angola. The coach of Interclube, Luís Gonçalves, pointed out today (Wednesday), in Luanda, the resilience and dedication of the team for the victory over 1o de Agosto, by 2-0, in the quarter-final game of the Angolan Cup in football, played at Estádio 22 de Junho.

When speaking to the press, after the challenge, which allowed the “military” formation to be removed and qualified for the semi-finals, the technician referred that the “police” group had a determined attitude and took advantage of the opportunities created, to score the two goals.

1.o de Agosto today (Wednesday) beat Formigas do Cazenga, by 90-73, in the game of the sixth round of the National Senior Women’s Basketball Championship (Liga Azule).

The “militares” were already winning at half-time, by 47-44, in a match played at the Victorino Cunha pavilion, in Luanda.

Tatiana Miguel, from Formigas do Cazenga, was the best scorer of the match with 27 points, followed by Ngiendula Filipe, from 1.o de Agosto, with 16 points.

Even today, for the seventh round, Interclube beat Lá Bomba, by 68-27, in a match played at the 28 de Fevereiro pavilion, and took back the lead in the competition, with 29 points, followed by 1° de Agosto B, with 27 .

On Saturday, still on matchday seven, 1° de Agosto B will face at 4 pm, at the Victoriano Cunha Pavilion, Sport Lubango and Benfica will host the Malanje Academy at the same time, at the Nossa Senhora do Monte pavilion.

And to conclude matchday seven, Inter de Benguela will meet Inter B at the Acácia Rubras Pavilion at 4 pm.
