Africa-Press – Angola. Sixteen thousand people received, from 2018 until Wednesday, April 22, credit, with a value of 15 billion kwanzas, granted by Wiliete Crédito, in the provinces of Huíla, Benguela, Huambo and Cubango.
Of the total number of beneficiaries, 9,000 people have current credit, totaling a portfolio of 10 billion kwanzas.
The credit benefited entrepreneurs, businesspeople and young people grouped in associations and cooperatives, as well as individuals in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, technology, services, commerce and others.
The data was made public yesterday by the director of Wiliete Crédito, Fábio Cumpanhe, when speaking on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the new credit agency in the municipal headquarters of Cubal, 150 kilometers south of the city of Acácias Rubras.
Fábio Cumpanhe expressed satisfaction with the repayment results, stressing that, of the total number of beneficiaries, only two percent are in default.
For this year, he announced that, by December, Wiliete Crédito intends to disburse more than three billion kwanzas.
When referring to the inauguration, he said that it is not just a physical space, but rather represents the continuation of a commitment that Wiliete Crédito has made since 2018 to create jobs for young people.
